Make me want to cry. I am old. So old that I never heard of Dylan Thomas until I was a college freshman. The library in my Central Oregon home had no poets like him. So I am 18, mad about poetry and unforgettable Dr. Gross puts a disc on and Dylans’ voice sang out and changed my life. And he was still alive then. Though not for long. Thank you.
Oh Phyllis, I know that album and how transporting it is to hear him read his poetry. My parents had that album and I listened to it so many many times. I am so glad you enjoyed hearing it again.
