Thanks for the birthday pig greetings on the blog…but the picture!…ugh! Did I really send that to you??? Perhaps to show how it looked on a muggy, madly hot, disheveled, busy morning during garlic harvest on the Green Hill. Decadence? Oh yes, when the tomato is in its most sublime decline which coincides with its perfection of culinary performance. Delicious is the middle name of farming. We eat like birthday pigs all year around.
